Room to Move

Wednesday. A lady came in today expecting a baby, and expecting, I think, to have a very good time. Her friends fussed. She told them firmly that she had checked.

She was right to check, and right about what she found. There is no crawling in the sanctum, no ducking through low tunnels, no squeezing between shelves. The castle lists it as a sensible choice for anyone expecting a baby, or anyone whose knees have opinions.

I have knees with opinions. Years of standing outside walls will do that. I would never have known the sanctum was so kind to knees, because I have never been inside.

She came out smiling with her whole class. I went home and put my feet up. We all have our victories.
