Who keeps the Society?
Who keeps the Founders’ Society: Escape This, builder of all three academies. Which pages are true, which are legend, and where each school really is.
The Founders’ Society is owned and run by Escape This, the company that designed, built and runs Magic School, Magic University and The Wizard’s Chamber. Escape This is Australia’s largest escape room operator, and runs its own escape room design studio and escape room factory in Australia. It has venues in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, has hosted more than 500,000 players and has earned 17,960 five-star reviews.
We made a fan society for our own schools of magic because they have fans, the headmistress and the owl write to each other, and a sorcerer keeps writing rude things in the margins about both of them.
What’s real and what isn’t
Real: the Enrol page, venues, opening dates, ages, group sizes, access, the photos of the sets and anything marked “On the record”. These come from Escape This.
Made up: the diaries (written in character), Hollis’s lost property book, Bramble, the legends, the Evening Scroll and anything marked “Legend has it”. Every character is Escape This’s own; nothing comes from any wizarding book or film.
