# The Founders’ Society > The (mostly) unofficial fan society for School of Magic: Magic School, Magic University and The Wizard’s Chamber. The staff and the sorcerers, four diaries, legends and the Evening Scroll. Run by Escape This. The (mostly) unofficial School of Magic fan society. Founded, kept and occasionally enchanted by Escape This. The diaries are written in character; Bramble, the lost property book, the legends, the Evening Scroll and anything marked “Legend has it” are made up for fun. The Enrol page, venues, dates and anything marked “On the record” are real. Nothing here comes from any wizarding book or film. ## Play for real (facts from Escape This) - Magic School at Escape This Manly, 2B The Corso, Manly NSW 2095: 2–6 players (six is a firm ceiling). Playing since 19 December 2025. https://www.escapethis.com.au/sydney/manly-beach/escape-rooms/magic-school - Magic University at Escape This Melbourne CBD, 259 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000: 2–8 players; Friday and Saturday evening peaks need four. Playing since 10 August 2026. https://www.escapethis.com.au/melbourne/melbourne-cbd/magic-university - The Wizard’s Chamber at Escape This Perth CBD, The Basement, 712–720 Hay Street Mall, Perth WA 6000: 2–8 players; Saturdays need four or more online. Playing since 14 April 2023. https://www.escapethis.com.au/en/game/wizardscbd - The Wizard’s Chamber at Escape This Sydney CBD, 630 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000: 2–8 players; Saturdays need four or more online. Playing since 18 October 2024. https://www.escapethis.com.au/sydney/sydney-cbd/the-wizards-chamber - How long: 60 minutes in each room; arrive 15 minutes early and allow about 90 minutes in all. - Who can enrol: Recommended for ages 9 and up. Seven- and eight-year-olds can play as paying members of a family group; anyone nine or under needs a parent or guardian playing alongside them. Students aged 10 to 13 need an adult at the venue; a class of 14-year-olds and up can go alone. - How hard: All three rooms are rated 6 out of 10: a comfortable first escape room that still keeps regular players thinking. Gamesmasters send clues whenever the class asks. - Which first: Any order. Each room is its own game with its own set and puzzles; Escape This presents Magic School as the sequel to The Wizard’s Chamber, so castle graduates will find familiar ground. - What to expect: No crawling, tight spaces or smoke. Controlled lighting with some darkness and flashes, mild spooky touches such as glowing skulls, and story and hints in English with some reading. - Access: Magic University and The Wizard’s Chamber take one wheelchair per session (some chambers may be out of reach depending on the chair). Magic School is not wheelchair accessible. - What to wear: Robes, cloaks, pointed hats, round spectacles and a wand tucked in your sleeve all belong. Closed shoes, please. ## Producer - Escape This (https://www.escapethis.com.au).
